OneNote

I just finished reading about electronic note taking in Chapter 12 of Beyond Technology. The author talked about using databases as a convenient way to label and sort research findings. I have a glimmer of a recollection that a Microsoft program called OneNote might be used for the same thing (and much more). Has anyone had experience using it?
