outside comfort zone

Every time Jerry gives us a new assignment, I think I'll never be able to do it. But the amazing thing is, once I get into it and pass the frustration stage, I CAN do it! It must be like that "runner's high" (which I've never experienced! Could be because I never run.) where you get past the hard part and get to the smooth sailing part.

I'm glad you are getting it. I think it's more of the infoglut that comes at the beginning where you see all these sites and examples and wonder can I ever do something even remotely like that. That's how I feel anyways.

Good for you! I am starting to trust the process more- I expect these new things to feel uncomfortable at first, but am starting to trust that I'll get it too. :) There is just SO much!

It seems that I need more processing time than the class allows. I listen and try to keep up, but I really need to try things at my own pace. Sometimes it just too fast for me to comprehend. You don't think it's age do you?

Sheryl I so agree with your feelings. I find that it just washes over me during class, and if I let it it can definitely be overwhelming. But having time to process it alone and in peace I find it (mostly) comes together. Saying that though, I do still have the digital story telling project to do, as well as what was done yesterday! AGHHHH!
